1. Select a tournament type:
SE- One loss and the player is out of the tournament.
DE two losses and the player is out of the tournament.( you have to have 10 tournaments completed to host a DE tournament.)
Swiss- Every player plays every round UNTIL they ask to be removed. (you need to have 10 tournaments completed to be TRAINED for swiss tournaments.)
2. Create the date that you want to hold the tournament on.
3. Select the Time Slot:
Swiss & DE tournaments must be 2 hours apart. There are NO EXCEPTIONS to this rule. This is done so that TDS don't run into other TDs time slots and so that TDS don't accidently take other TDs players that they had for their tournaent.
Example:
There is a Swiss tournament scheduled for 1:00pm. That means thaat another Swiss or DE cannot be scheduled until 3:00pm.If you can't schedule a Swiss or DE because there is one scheduled too close you will then have to schedule a SE.
4. Location of the tournament:
In this box you MUST fill out The name of the game that your tournament is for (either Pachisi, backgammon, or Yacht.) and the name of the room that we use for that game.
Examples:
Pachisi- Advanced Room UK
Backgammon-Advanced Room UK
Yacht-Five-a-Like Advanced Room UK
It is VERY IMPORTANT that this is filled out correctly everytime you make a tournament. The players may not know where to go to play in the tournaments.
5. Select a tournament style:
Classic- the default style tournament page.
Pro- Has a Diferent look the links are on the Left hand side and the top image that you can put on the page is smaller.
6. Number of Rounds:
This is where you choose how manyrounds your tournament will be.
It is very important to ALWAYS choose the highest number in the drop down menu. If you choose a lower number of rounds and your tournament has to be longer (because of more people) then you will have a waiting list when people sign up for your tournament. and if you don't fix the round info correctly all the players on the waiting list will be dropped when you close your tournament. The number of rounds used in a tournament is decided by the number of players. ALWAYS choose the highest number of rounds for each tournament you create this way you will NEVER have any player(s) dropped because of a waiting list.
7. Number of minutes between rounds:
ALWAYS put 1. If you ever have to move a tournament, you will see thaat it is easier to change just the hourand not have to change the mins. ALWAYS put 1.
8. Number of players per team:
For singles: 1
For partners: 2
9. Number of players per Match:
For Singles 1 vs 1 : 2
For Singles: 1 vs 1 vs 1: 3
For Singles: 1 vs1 vs 1 vs 1: 4
