1. ALL TDs, HTDs, & Admins MUST put the name and url of our league in their Profiles (USA and UK Flipside profiles.)
2. Be in the room 1 hour before your tournament starts.
3. Open check-in 1/2 hour before your tournament starts. NO EARLIER.
If you open it earlier then that, players may sign up, forget they did, then recieve a loss for not being there. That is unacceptable. That is why Check-in opens 1/2 hour before a tournament starts and no earlier. That way if they sign up early and forget, they aren't checked in and will be dropped when the tournament starts and will NOT get a loss.
4. ONLY ADVERTISE every 5 mins. in the lobby. We don't want to make people mad or uncomfortable. Every 5 mins is plenty.
5. Always use the Myleague boot timer found on your tournament admin page. This will prevent any arguements from players about how long a player should have been timed for or that a player timed out when they had NOT.
6. Fill out your RULES PAGE for each tournament that yu create completely BEFORE you open check-in. When a player registers for your tournament they check a box to agree to the rules of your tournament, if no rules are there that is wrong the TD is breaking a rule. YOU must fill them out BEFORE check in opens.
If you can't run a tournament that you have scheduled, EMAIL ALL HTDS immediately!!!!!! (use the email HTDs link on your tournament admin page.) In doing this we can cover your tournament without disrupting the tournament play for the players. Thanks.
If you have 3 no shows , WITHOUT emails to the htds, you will get an email warning. It will just state the policy that you must follow if you can't make it to a tournament.
If you get the warning email and have 3 more no shows you will be placed on VACATION status. This means that you CANNOT play or host any tournaments at all, until you are placed back on ACTIVE. Once you speak to an ANDMIN and things are cleared up and fixed you will be placed back on active status again.
A NOTE TO HTDS:
ANYTIME a TD doesn't show for his or her tournament (without it being covered by someone.) a note needs to be placed onto their TD NOTES file. Please don't forget to do this. This is an important tool for the admins to keep an eye on the running of tournaments on the ladder. THIS PROCEEDURE IS A MUST FOR HTDS... Thanks.
